Publisher: Speakers Bureaus Directory, an independent directory. Nobody pays to appear and a listing is not an endorsement.

Singapore is where a thread that runs through this whole directory finally lands.

If you read the Australia page you met the Australian Speakers Bureau. On Britain, the British Speakers Bureau. On Canada, the Canada Speakers Bureau. All three answer on the same Singapore phone number, because all three are SpeakIn, a company founded in 2016 with headquarters here and in India. Its own site lists the country-branded fronts openly: Australian, British, Canada, Singapore and around thirty more. The Singapore version is the only one that says so on its About page.

That aside, Singapore has strikingly few bureaus of its own for a city that hosts this much corporate business. The work is largely done by regional operators headquartered somewhere else. Speakers Connect was founded in Hong Kong and has supported Asian events for over a decade, with SingTel, Bank of Singapore and DBS among its named clients. London Speaker Bureau Asia runs from Kuala Lumpur with a Singapore office at Guoco Tower, specialising in business and government.

Nobody here publishes a fee. Not one organisation on this page shows a band, a range or a starting figure, which puts Singapore alongside New Zealand and against Britain, the United States, Canada and Ireland.

The most useful door for a local speaker isn't an agency at all. Asia Professional Speakers Singapore was established on 30 September 2003 and has 50 Professional Members, eight of them Certified Speaking Professionals, plus 81 Associate Members. It's part of the Global Speakers Federation, the same network that connects the industry bodies in every other country in this directory.

SG60 Speakers takes a different approach again: sixty curated Singaporean voices who hold their own profiles rather than being represented by anyone.

## Questions

### Is the Singapore Speakers Bureau a Singaporean company?

It's operated by SpeakIn, which does have Singapore headquarters, so in this one case the national branding is fair. SpeakIn was founded in 2016 and runs a second headquarters in India.

Its About page states the SpeakIn connection outright, which is more than the Australian, British and Canadian versions of the same product do.

### Why does the same bureau keep appearing under different national names?

Because it's one company. SpeakIn operates country-branded sites and its own website lists them: Australian, British, Canada, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and roughly twenty more.

The service is real and the profile is free. Just know that a site called the Australian or British Speakers Bureau is reaching the same global roster from the same Singapore desk.

### What do speakers charge in Singapore?

Nobody on this page will tell you publicly. Not one organisation here publishes a fee band, a range or a starting figure.

For a reference point, the British and American bureaus that do publish put most working professional speakers between £5,000 and £10,000 or $5,000 and $20,000. Singapore quotes are all negotiated.

### Why are there so few Singapore bureaus?

The market is served regionally rather than locally. Speakers Connect operates from Hong Kong, London Speaker Bureau Asia from Kuala Lumpur with a Singapore office, and SpeakIn runs a global platform from here rather than a local roster.

For a city with this much conference activity, that's unusual. It also means a Singapore event organiser is often dealing with someone in another country.

### How do I find a genuinely Singaporean speaker?

Start with Asia Professional Speakers Singapore. It's the local industry body, its members are working Singapore-based speakers and trainers, and it publishes a members directory.

SG60 Speakers is the other route, a curated platform of sixty Singaporean voices where each speaker maintains their own profile, articles and video.

### What does APSS membership get a speaker?

APSS has two tiers. There are 50 Professional Members, eight of whom hold the Certified Speaking Professional designation, alongside 81 Associate Members for people building towards it.

Membership brings a directory listing, special interest groups, signature events and the accreditation pathway. Because APSS belongs to the Global Speakers Federation, the CSP designation is recognised in every other country covered by this directory.

### What is the Global Speakers Federation?

The umbrella body linking national speaking associations. APSS in Singapore belongs to it, and so do the equivalents in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Ireland, the United States and Canada.

The practical consequence is that Certified Speaking Professional means the same thing in Singapore as it does in Toronto or Minneapolis, which matters if you speak across borders.

### Can I book a Singapore event through a bureau elsewhere?

Routinely, and often you'll have to. London Speaker Bureau Asia covers Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia. Speakers Connect works across the region from Hong Kong. Several large British and American bureaus book into Singapore as a matter of course.

What you lose is local knowledge of which names land with a Singapore room. What you gain is roster depth.

### What's the difference between Speakers Connect and China Speakers Agency?

Same company, two brands. Speakers Connect handles general Asian corporate work and China Speakers Agency, trading as 中国名人演讲堂, focuses on China expertise.

If your event needs someone who can speak credibly about doing business with China, that's the door. For a general Asian conference, use the main brand.

### Do Singapore events need a bilingual or multilingual speaker?

English is the working language of Singapore business, so most corporate events run in English without difficulty. That's a genuine contrast with Canada, where French capability is a routine booking question.

Where it does matter is regional. If your audience spans Southeast Asia or mainland China, ask about language, and note that China Speakers Agency exists precisely for that kind of brief.

### How far ahead should I book?

Six to twelve months for a conference keynote, the same as everywhere else. Singapore's conference calendar is busy and competes with Hong Kong and Dubai for the same international names.

Because so much booking runs through regional offices, add time for coordination across countries and time zones.

### How do I get a listing on this page corrected or added?

Email us. Every organisation here was checked on its own website on the date at the bottom of this page.

This page is short because the market genuinely is, not because we stopped looking. If you run a Singapore bureau we've missed, tell us. Nobody pays to appear, and nobody can pay to be removed or moved up. See [how we verify](https://speakersbureaus.directory/methodology/).
